We just had to share. My Simply Sweet Kitchen traveled to La Crosse to a wedding venue call Ca****la Wedding & Events, absolutely beautiful! This was a new venue to us and had no idea what to expect, walking in and looking around we were like Wow! Event was set beautifully, staff was so accommodating. Side Note: Michelle you were awesome with all of your help..Thank You!

I had so much fun creating this little bear. I made him out of “Modeling Chocolate” . When my customer showed me the picture I was like I need to think about the bear and how to create him. The chocolate comes in an off white color and I needed him to look kinda coffee stained so when he was dry I went back over him with a paint brush and cocoa powder to give him color I also used cocoa powder on the plaque to make it also just a little vintage. Made a bow for him to match the bottom of the cake board. Light blue gum balls to give some color and we there we have a baby shower cake.

It has been a while since I have shared my creations, and I have been real poor sharing pictures, but this one is kinda cool. Highlanders have been popular for cakes this year, and this is my attempt. Baby shower was BoHo theme cake and cupcakes fit in perfectly.

Creations of the week. Double layer lemon poppy seed cake with raspberry filling. Chocolate drop embellished in gold. White chocolate covered pretzels with edible glitter. Macaron made by Michelles Macaron. She does beautiful Macarons, and they taste great. Check her page out if anyone needs Macarons ( I don’t have the patients to make them)
