The Accidental Baker is a wholesale bakery in Hillsborough, NC specializing in artisan flatbread crackers- three of which have won prestigious Good Food Awards. We take great pride in our crackers, using superior ingredients like locally milled organic flour and extra virgin olive oil; while we don't use additives, preservatives or animal products. There are currently six varieties available in mo

re than one hundred-fifty retail locations. The dill is distinctive, but pepper is the dominant flavor. They are spicey but not too hot. The latest addition is a Spicy Ginger Sweet Potato cracker with Black Pepper. The Ginger crackers are savory with subtle sweet potato flavor and lots of ginger! If you're in the South like us, you've been frantically googling ways to beat the heat with this (hopefully) last heat wave.

Our solution? Our Sea Salt Flatbread Crackers dipped in chocolate and topped with freeze dried raspberries, and then crumbled over our friend Matthew's Chocolates delicious chocolate gelato.

To make your own version, melt chocolate chips in the microwave, then pour over our crackers. While its setting, toss some raspberries on top, then pop in the freezer. Once its cold, crumble your chocolate coated crackers over your favorite ice cream and enjoy!

For the past twenty years, our family has been crafting unique small-batch flatbread crackers. We enhance our cracker dough with wild yeast cultures and cold age overnight to develop a subtle fermentation. This naturally results in a high-quality, crispy flatbread cracker with fuller flavor, sturdier structure and longer shelf-life.

We use locally milled flour and plant-based ingredients to create our gourmet crackers.

Made with 100% non-GMO ingredients and no trans-fats, preservatives, additives or sugars.

Retail boxes available in twelve or twenty-four pack cases.

We are counting down the days to fall over here at The Accidental Baker! But, since we are still in the dog days of summer, we decided to create a treat that combines the best of both seasons: a blueberry apple cinnamon coffee cake! With a flavorful and tender inside and crunchy topping, these cakes will have you dreaming of the cool days ahead.
