Get Ready for the SWITCH!
Summer is a busy time for everyone, and after seven years, we’ve noticed that stopping by the bakeshop isn’t always a top priority during these sunny months. To better fit your summer schedule, we will be closing our walk-in retail hours for June, July, and August. Instead, we are moving to a pre-order model. This allows you to reserve your favorite treats—like our curated baker’s boxes or brown butter chocolate chip cookies—online, so you can pick them up at your convenience without worrying about us selling out.
What's Changing & What's Not
SUMMER MENU June, July & August
We're sticking with 1 menu throughout the summer months, this will ensure you have plenty of time to get what you've been craving. Although the Summer Menu will remain the same be sure to watch out for SURPRISE additions, like Pride Rainbow Sprinkle Cupcakes in June! Pre-orders will be accepted Sunday through NOON on Wednesday!

Pre-Order Pickup Windows
You've placed your pre-order, now what?! You'll be able to select your pick-up window when you order. Collection times are as follows:
Fridays: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Did someone say extras? Our goal this summer is to operate with zero waste. We will bake specifically to fulfill pre-orders, so extra inventory will be very limited and may not be available every week. If there are any additional items available, we will build boxes and post them online for purchase. We recommend pre-ordering to ensure you always get your preferred treats.
What about Custom Orders? Event Cakes, Wedding Cakes, Cookies, French Macaron Towers, Dessert Grazes?
No changes here!!! We're still accepting orders for classic cakes and treats from our online menus as well as custom designed orders for weddings, showers and birthday celebrations. Be sure to reach out 1-2 weeks in advance since

So you're only going to work 2-3 days/week this summer? Must be nice.
Quite the opposite actually! We typically work 6-7 days a week filling the case and working on all your custom orders. This summer we'll probably only work 6 days since custom orders are keeping us booked non-stop! Keep them coming!
Okay, so you're closing?
HELL NO!! We are on course to have our best year yet, this switch up will help us avoid burnout which is incredibly common for bakers, bakery owners, entrepreneurs! We're so excited to try something new at Simpy Sweets and we hope you are too! Our small business is evolving and that's a good thing for all of us!
