Did you know that supporting my baking not only supports my medical treatments, but i also volunteer with Lasagna Love? Making, baking, and providing a meal to local families needing a warm, cheesy hug. I am blessed to have a wonderful friend that helps support my Lasagna gifting habit. When everyone is excited for the cookies, this week, I'm dreaming about the monkey bread. Not your mother's monkey bread. No canned biscuits here. An enriched bread dough, the traditional butter, cinnamon, and sugar. Drizzled with caramel and struesel. Mrs LaPorte, my 6th grade teacher, taught us how to make monkey bread. My version has seen a few upgrades since then. But I like to think I made her proud.
