There are so many things I want to say to each and every one of you...this weekend was incredible! There truly are not enough words to express how grateful I am to each and every one of you who shared the event, who came out this weekend, sent me an encouraging note or even asked today how items can be purchased. This year has been challenging for ALL of us, but making the decision to close my storefront after three years was heartbreaking. I knew I was making the right decision for my family, especially my kids during this challenging year, but was still a decision that stung. I felt like I was letting a community down, one that I love so much. So when the opportunity for a barn sale arose, I had a lot of insecurities. I knew I could take a barn and make it pretty; I was worried if people would still support me, if people would even come! Shame on me for letting the insecurities in, because if three years of the storefront taught me anything, it’s that my customers are incredible! You came out in droves, with literal bells (and masks) on! If I wasn’t so busy both days, I probably would have cried from the overwhelming feeling of support, love and encouragement! I wish I could give each and every one of you a big hug (those that are close to me know this is a HUGE deal because I am not a hugger! 😂)
This is not an event I could have done all by myself! First off I want to thank the Horne family for offering up their beautiful property! Wasn’t their food truck Big Mouth Egg Rolls not the most amazing thing?! I ate egg rolls for two days straight and I am definitely not mad about it!
I owe so many more thanks, but IG is cutting me off! So here’s a basic thanks to some fabulous people:
-My hubby Nate, kids Taegan and Knox
-My sister and candle extraordinaire Abbey Eight•7•Three
-My momma Denise and her beautiful furniture
- KTees
-
- Meredee Designs
- .teepees
- Kelley & Kate
- Sweet Mamas Cake Pops
Thank you all SO much! A thank you is not enough for how grateful I am!
Barn Sale Featured Vendor!
I am so excited that Tracy from Sweet Mamas Cake Pops agreed to be a part of the Barn Sale! My family personally LOVES her delicious and adorable cake pops that she hand decorates for any occasion. For the Barn Sale, she is going to have Hot Chocolate Bombs!!! Oh my!! I cannot wait! We’re talking individually wrapped, multiple flavors, perfect stocking stuffers, teacher gifts, hostess gifts or really just because hot chocolate is never a bad idea!
Many thanks for coming through on an eleventh hour request for birthday cake pops! One happy kiddo equals a happy Mama!
