📌 Misty Makes Cakes – Order Policy Update (Please take a moment to read)

Moving forward, all orders will require a deposit before any supplies or materials are purchased. This is something I have been flexible with in the past, but I can no longer continue that flexibility.

I completely understand that sometimes payment may need to wait until payday—I’ve been there too which is why I've been so flexible with this policy. However, as a small business, I cannot purchase supplies or begin preparing for an order until the deposit has been received.

Dates are not held or reserved without a deposit. Availability is first come, first served, and orders are only secured once a deposit is received.

Unfortunately, I’ve had multiple situations where I’ve tried to be accommodating by purchasing supplies in advance to ensure everything is perfect and on time. This has resulted in unexpected costs and lost availability when orders are canceled or not finalized.

My pricing is already kept as reasonable as possible, and situations like this make it difficult to continue offering that.

To ensure fairness and to continue providing quality products, orders without a deposit will not be prioritized, and last-minute deposits may result in limited design options based on available supplies.

Orders requested with less than 5 days’ notice may be subject to a RUSH ORDER FEE of $10–$25 depending on size/complexity, and are only accepted based on availability.

Thank you so much for supporting my small business! Please take a moment to review the following information before placing your order.

Food Safety Notice
All items are prepared in my home kitchen. While I take care to avoid cross-contact when I am made aware of allergies, I cannot guarantee that my kitchen is completely free of allergens (including but not limited to nuts, dairy, gluten, etc.).

Booking & Payments
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your order date. The remaining balance is due 24 hours prior to pickup.

I understand that emergencies happen, and I will always do my best to work with you on rescheduling when possible. However, once supplies have been purchased and preparation has begun, deposits cannot be refunded.

Accepted Payment Methods
Cash, CashApp, and Venmo are accepted. Cash payments for final balances must be arranged in advance.

Delivery & Pickup
I am located near Bay Rd & Connor Nelson Rd in Hilliard, FL.

Delivery is available along:
• US-1 from the Hilliard state line to Journey Food Store in Callahan
• Intersection of 121 & River Rd (for St. George and Bryceville customers)

If you’re unsure whether you fall within my delivery area, feel free to ask!

When booking please give me the date your intending on PICKING UP your order. (Example, if you're event is the 7th but need to pick up on the 6th please place your order for the 6th)

Design Expectations
I am a self-taught baker who focuses on big flavor and clean, simple designs. I will always do my best to match inspiration photos; however, exact replicas are not guaranteed—especially with highly edited or AI-generated images.

If a design is outside of my current skill set, I will always be upfront and work with you to find a beautiful alternative that fits your vision.

Decorations & Toppers
Custom toppers or specialty décor can be:
• Provided by you and added at pickup
• Shipped directly to me
• Ordered by me and added to your total

Customization & Available Options
I do not charge extra for certain add-ons (such as sprinkles, colors, candies, or fillings) if I already have them available. Feel free to ask what I currently have on hand when planning your order!

After a minor issue with meta disabling my page, we are back in business ❤️💚 I may have extra pecan pie cheesecakes or Chocolate Caramel Cheesecakes, on Christmas Eve & Christmas. I'll make a post with the extras as i have them ($25 each). Thank you always for your support & Merry Christmas.
