Today we had Dad Kamil and his two sons, Lucas and Zack, out looking for some Fluke.

We headed south and took a slow ride out due to the rough conditions this morning. Once we got set up, we were catching Fluke on every drift, but unfortunately they were all about a half-inch shy of being keepers.

We moved around throughout the day and caught plenty more Fluke, but none of them made the cut. We also caught plenty of nice-sized Sea Bass and kept our limit, releasing the rest to fight another day.

The conditions improved as the day went on, but we lost the wind and the tide, making things a little tougher.

That’s why they call it fishing, not catching! Oh well—we’ll get them next time. 🎣

🎣 Another Great Day on the Fluke Grounds! 🎣

Today we had Quinn and Ray out on the Fluke grounds, and it turned into another day full of laughs, memories, and fish!

We started out catching some shorts and a few Seabass. After a couple of drifts, we got our first keeper Fluke at 18”. We moved around a bit, finding more shorties and keeping everyone busy.

Then—BANG! 💥 Quinn became the high hook of the day and took the win, bringing up his first true doormat Fluke, weighing in around #5 pounds! 🐟🔥

We hit a few more spots and found some nice Seabass, including a few around 14” that made it into the box.

As the day went on, we continued catching Fluke. Most were just a little short, but they definitely kept the rods bent and everyone entertained. Eventually, we lost the tide and the drift, so we called it a day and headed back to the barn.

Overall, it was a great day on the water with Quinn and Ray—plenty of laughs, good fishing, and memories made. That’s what it’s all about! 🎣🤙

Yesterday we had a great family aboard
Wayne Jr (Brother), Ella, Big Wayne, and U-Meeka

We tried a few different spots, but the stingrays just wouldn’t leave us alone! They went a perfect 6-for-6, with everyone catching and safely releasing all Rays.

After checking a couple more areas, we found a few small fluke and some dogfish. We finished the trip down the river, where we picked up a small cocktail bluefish just before the rain moved in.

Overall, it was a fun day on the water with a great family. Thanks again, everyone! Hope to see you again.
