My heart is absolutely broken for our community and everyone affected by the tornadoes that came through our area.

My family and I had just gotten back from vacation the night everything happened, and seeing the devastation around us has been really sad. We are so grateful to be home and safe, but my heart hurts knowing that so many of our neighbors came out of that night facing damage, loss, and an overwhelming amount of cleanup.

Today, my kids and I are completely free, and we would love to use that time to help anyone local who needs an extra set of hands. Whether you need help picking up debris, cleaning up your yard, moving things, or just tackling some of the mess left behind, please send me a message. You do not have to be a bakery customer. You do not have to know us personally. If you’re nearby and you need help, please reach out.

This little bakery has always felt like so much more than bread and cookies to me. It’s given me the opportunity to meet and become connected with so many wonderful people in our community, and you all have supported my family and my small business more than you probably realize. If there is ever a time to return some of that love, it’s now.

As my last summer bake day comes to an end, I just wanted to say thank you. 💜🪻

Today, I completely sold out for my final weekend of the summer, and it’s all because of you. What started as flour, butter, and a whole lot of hope has grown into something so incredibly special because of this amazing community.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to every single person who stopped by the stand, placed an order, shared a post, recommended me to a friend, or simply cheered me on this summer. Every loaf, cookie, bagel, and treat you brought home helped support this little dream of mine, and I truly can’t put into words how much that means.

As many of you know, nursing school starts back up, so my menu will be much smaller for a little while as I balance school, clinicals, and baking. But don’t worry I’m not going anywhere! I’ll still be baking whenever I can, and I can’t wait to keep sharing homemade goodies with all of you.

Thank you for believing in me, supporting my family, and allowing me to be a small part of your tables and traditions. Every order, kind message, and smiling face has meant more than you’ll ever know.

I hope you all have an amazing rest of your summer, and I’ll see you soon.
