It is with heavy hearts that Simply Cake is letting our customers know that we will be closing our doors next week on April 28th.
We would like to THANK all of our Simply Cake family for the past 5 years and making them amazing, memorable and a success. Our Customers, our Simply Cake family, have forever changed the meaning of owning a "Family Business" and we thank you for that.
For those wondering, long story short:
While negotiating to renew our lease, it was raised to a ridiculous amount as well as being told by our landlord, that family owned businesses were no longer wanted in the complex.
It was decided that with the new lease rate, combined with matters of a more personal nature, we would close rather than relocate.
Thank you to everyone for a spectacular 5 years and we wish the best to all of you!
We will still be taking cake orders, although a smaller amount, as we will be taking advantage of the County of San Bernardino's Cottage Permit and making them on a much more personal level from home.
We are working to keep our phone number, email and Facebook all the same.
Also, we will be selling much of our excess melting chocolates, candy molds, boards, boxes, sprinkles and more at a discounted rate.
