Nothing prepares you for finding out that a close loved one has been diagnosed with cancer.

My grandma was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer a couple of months ago. This new journey has been such a long one already and we’re only just getting started. Yesterday she bravely underwent a double mastectomy procedure and is doing amazing- praise God for a successful surgery 🙌🏻

If anyone knows my grandma, you know that she has a strong spirit and such a positive attitude. What I love most about her is her ability to laugh and make light of any situation. I made a set of cookies just for her when she came out of surgery with a goal of making her laugh and smile during what is one of the most difficult and dark moments of her life. She’s braver than she realizes, and I couldn’t be more proud of her and thankful that she’s in the hands of some of the best doctors and nurses.

The second set of cookies were made for the surgical team and nurses at Chesapeake Regional Hospital for their contribution to her breast cancer journey. We couldn’t be more grateful for their support and dedication to my grandma’s care.

Please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers at this time as my grandma recovers and begins her chemotherapy journey 💗

Busy season is here! Mother’s Day, Teacher Appreciation, graduation, Father’s Day, and wedding season are all right around the corner.

With that being said, please keep in mind that I typically require orders to be placed at least 2 weeks in advance to allow time to plan and prepare for your sweets. I’m looking forward to helping you make your celebrations special! 🧁

Just a reminder that Easter preorder pickup is today and tomorrow (4/3 - 4/4)! I’ll be open from 7am-7:30pm both days. Don’t forget to grab your goodies! 243 Doll Harrell Rd. Hertford, NC 🐰

Due to the heat this weekend, I’ve moved my bakery fridge out onto the front porch and all orders will be stored there. Your names are on your bags! Some items didn’t all fit in the bags, so please check the loose items in the fridge for sticky notes with your name on them as well.

If you need to drop off cash, the empty stand will be out for you to put money in the cash box!

Hey y’all!

I’m super thankful for all of your support with the bakery stand over the past several months! You guys have shown up every weekend and bought so many treats and I couldn’t be more grateful.

With custom orders steadily rolling in, I’ve made the difficult decision to open the stand only for holidays and special occasions moving forward. Being that I’m operating by myself, I don’t have the time each week to open the stand. I want to take the time to focus on your special custom orders and give them the attention they deserve!

I’ll be posting when the stand will be open at the beginning of that week from here on out. Thank you for your support!
