Hey there!! I hope you all enjoyed your Valentine’s Day treats!! St. Patrick’s day is just around the corner, but before we get to opening preorders this weekend there is something I want to share with you.
About a year ago I found out I have a gene mutation called PALB2 that puts me at a high risk for Breast Cancer. I have a lot of family history with different types of cancer, specifically my mom who passed away at 39 from Breast cancer. So I have decided to be proactive and get a double prophylactic mastectomy to significantly lower my chances of getting breast cancer!
There is 3 different surgeries I will need to have over the next year, with my 1st surgery being scheduled for end of March. So between all the surgeries and recovery time, I don’t know when I will be feeling up for making treats this year, and have decided to take a year off!!
St. Patrick’s Day will be my last holiday this year that I will be offering treats, until likely next Valentine’s Day 2027. 💚
Also, for St. Patrick’s Day I will only be offering Caramel Apples. My daughter is right in the middle of Girl Scout Cookie season with big goals, so I am trying to support her as much as possible before my first surgery. If you need Girl Scout cookies, let us know!! 😜
I will open up preorders on tomorrow and will make a separate post for that! But I needed to let you all know this in the meantime and hope that you understand!
