The DMV is sadly losing another iconic diner as Amphora in Vienna, Virginia is closing next week. And yup, you can blame it on the pandemic! For generations this old school spot along Route 123 has been a destination for folks of all ages and from all walks of life, be it for a family celebration, all day breakfast, dessert or just a late-night snack! Luckily the nearby Amphora Bakery & Diner in Herndon, Virginia will remain open! I had to have just one last turkey club for old time sakes!
