💜🕊️ Some cakes are more than just desserts; they carry deep emotions and memories.
A few weeks ago, I volunteered to create a cake for a Mom in memory of her son, who will sadly remain forever 18 💔
It was a very last-minute request, and all I had left was a pistachio-raspberry honey cake, which, as fate would have it, was his favorite flavor combination. It was just meant to be 💔
Creating this white cake with wafer paper wings was an honor, but I wish I would never receive such a request. It’s difficult to share something so personal, but it felt right to reflect on how fate brought me and this woman together in such a heartbreaking moment. No mother should have to endure the loss of a child, and I’m honored to have brought even a small bit of comfort on such a deeply sad day.
Forever 18, Michael, forever in our hearts. 💜🕊️
