As many of you know, this past summer Clever Crumb Co. had the chance to create some very special sets of cookies for multiple artists in an unforgettable collaboration with CMAC. One of those sets was for Old Dominion, especially celebrating their new album titled "Barbara", during their "How Good Is That" Tour. 🎶

Not long after we posted that set, the incredible woman and model featured on that album as the real Barbara reached out personally to ask if she could get some of those cookies for herself! Since we can’t ship paid orders per New York State, we decided to gift them to her, and she surprised us back by asking if she could make a donation to a local charity of our choice in honor of Clever Crumb Co. 🥰🫶

We chose Against All Oddz Animal Alliance Inc., a local nonprofit founded on the belief in the sanctity of life and the power of redemption. Since 2015, they’ve been rescuing and rehabilitating court case dogs, providing legal representation, and offering refuge as a humane alternative to euthanasia, giving every dog the second chance they deserve. 🐾

What makes this connection even more special is what Barbara has come to represent to Old Dominion fans, especially women. She is a symbol of confidence, living your truth, and the timeless beauty within that journey. Fans have even been showing up to concerts dressed as Barbara, celebrating all that she means to them.

We were so touched by her thoughtfulness and generosity. She’s truly every bit as stunning in heart as she is on that album cover, such a class act in every way.

It’s been a full-circle experience that reminds us not only why we love what we do, but also how creativity can connect people and spark kindness in ways we never could have imagined. From a small buisness bakery, to an icon on a worldwide album cover, to a ripple of compassion that reaches far beyond what we thought possible.

How good is that? 💫
