At Sweet Treats by Mandy we are always looking to help you make your event spectacular! Before placing an order we ask that you take a moment to read our policies.

How to help get the most accurate price quicker: Here are some tips to help us provide you with a more accurate price quickly. These details are things we need to know in order to ensure pricing is on point from the beginning. 1. How many do you need to feed? 2. Do you want all fondant, frosted with fondant accents or no fondant at all? 3. If the cake you like has figures/toppers/fresh flowers on it, do you want us to price that or do you want to provide that? 4. Do you need it delivered? 5. Do you need it set up? 6. Do you have any allergies that we need to know about? 7. Any other special information you feel will be helpful in getting you a price quickly.

Cake Flavors: Our flavor choices are pinned to the top of our page. If you don’t find the flavor you are looking for please ask if we are able to make it. We do offer gluten free, vegan, egg free, nut free options; HOWEVER, PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL ITEMS ARE MADE IN A HOME BASED KITCHEN THAT PRODUCES PRODUCTS USING THESE INGREDIENTS AT ANY GIVEN TIME.

Cake Sizing: For specialty/event/birthday cakes the serving size is 1.5” x 2”. For wedding cakes the serving size is 1” x 2”. Sweet Treats by Mandy won’t be liable if servings are cut larger than noted and cake runs out.

Deposit: There is a nonrefundable deposit of $25 on non-wedding orders and $50 for wedding orders. This is nonrefundable because we potentially turn away other customers for your date once we’ve hit our quota. Your deposit is applied to your balance due. If your order is less than $50, then you must pay in full upon ordering.

Payments: Payments can be made via paypal, venmo, cash or check. Your total will include TN sales tax of 9.25%. Weddings must be paid in full no less than 2 weeks prior to the wedding date.

Order Deadlines, Confirmations & Changes: Your order must be placed no less than 1 week prior to the event date. Confirmation of your order is also no less than 1 week prior to the event date. If orders are not confirmed, the order will not be made. Last minute orders will be charged an additional 15% rush fee if order is able to be added in. Changes to an order after it is confirmed 1 week before the event will also be subject to a 15% add to the order. If a wedding is cancelled within 2 weeks leading up to the wedding date, the payment will not be refunded. If a wedding is cancelled prior to 2 weeks from the wedding date a refund of 50% will be given.

Pick up: We ask that you pick up your cake at the scheduled time as this is a home based business and we schedule family events based on these times. Also, if you choose to transport your cake or have someone transport the cake for you, we are not liable or responsible for the cake once it is picked up. Please ensure that the cake is placed in a safe location that is flat and on a surface that will not cause the cake to slide, tip over or roll. If the cake is being picked up during warm months please make sure the vehicle is cooled properly; if during winter months, please do not put it under direct heat. We do everything to ensure that the cake is structurally sound so please drive carefully.

Delivery/Setup: We will deliver and setup any order at an additional cost. The rate for delivery is $0.58 per mile between our home and the event venue. There is a minimum delivery charge of $10. When delivering, we will place the cake at your predetermined location. If we will be setting up a cupcake display, stacking a cake, etc. there will be an additional fee based on the time it will take to setup the display. There is a minimum set up of $25. PLEASE NOTE- SWEET TREATS BY MANDY IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR A CAKE ONCE IT IS DELIVERED OR PICKED UP. IF A CAKE IS PLACED IN LESS THAN IDEAL WEATHER OR CONDITIONS OR TEMPS IT COULD CAUSE THE CAKE TO MELT.
