So I get scam texts for baked goods all the time and know the ways to spot a scammer right off the bat.
This person had 0 friends and 2 posts (not always an indicator, but can be. Sometimes established accounts get hacked), and they always ask vague questions ("are you taking orders?" "Can you do a birthday party?") with no dates, specific items, themes, etc. and/or send a screenshot of baked goods I posted just saying, "how much is this?". They're also often from different countries, listed on their profile, and pretend they're not.
If I say I only accept cash, they always stop talking to me.

Decided to have fun with this one and they were quite persistent 😅 (click to see the whole conversation)

If you didn't know what to look for for scammers, now you do. They love bakeries for some reason.

Update: hilarious that I typed "scam" into my post and *nearly* all the comments fit the EXACT description of what I shared. Lots of blocking going on!
For the record, I HAVE NOT BEEN HACKED. I'm being contacted by fake pages or pages who have been hacked. 😂

Hello all!
We're taking a break from the majority of orders this week as I have a busy day on Wednesday, and I won't have the chance to do any baking in the morning. Some of your favorites, I make the night before, though, so we still have those on the menu available for pickup starting bright and early!
