Here is the Princess Bride themed wedding cake I did for my daughter's wedding. I had tons of fun making this one!

This weekend I made a groom's cake for a medical student. He gave me the titles and photos of his four favorite medical school books and I built a stack of those books for his cake. It's not every day I get to paint slides of various disease organisms and Pathologic Basis of Disease in icing. :-D

The cake was lemon with lemon curd filling covered in fondant. Really fun one to make!

I volunteer through an organization called Icing Smiles which bakes cakes for critically ill children. They called on me to bake a first birthday cake for a sweet baby girl. Her birthday theme is Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and I had a dainty pink and gold invitation to use for inspiration. Here is what I did!

Today my pastor is getting married and this is the cake I made for him and his bride. The bride asked for a chocolate naked cake with homemade whipped vanilla cream filling. Her colors are peach and cream so I added peach roses and white hydrangeas on top with a few carnations added for texture.

I made a mustache cake for super cute mustached-themed baby shower! I made it with my new favorite chocolate cake and icing recipe. So delightfully chocolate!
