Birkie is this weekend. Make Saturday a fun one by starting with breakfast at Twin Lakes Tap, then a ride to hecklers hill, then finish the day on Nelson Lake for their 14th Annual Birkie Poker Run. Both events to benefit SnoMads.

HELP! Lost bags on trail 25/3/5.

Yesterday went from bad to worse. Sled died at Reel Livin Resort. The nice folks there helped out a ton! BuUUT...upon leaving I left a tunnel bag open and didnt notice it until we were at Dow's Corner Bar/Spider Lake Motel. 2 zippered bags with alot of tools, equipment, heated gloves, batteries, power bank, rubber mallet, etc. flew out. We made a direct path from Reel Livin, to Dow's Corner Bar/Spiderman Lake Motel. Made a return trip but someone had picked them up already. Hoping I can find the nice souls on here! Thank you! Message SnoMads if any of these items are found and we’ll get you in contact with the owner.

Helpful tips and reminders on trail passes!

•Every snowmobile riding on WI public trails must have a trail pass each year (expires June 30th) regardless of resident or out of state.

•Resident trail pass $30. Resident is for snowmobiles registered in WI. You do not need to be a resident of the state to register your sled in WI. If you ride more than 15 consecutive days in WI you are required to register it in WI.

•If you are a member of a WI snowmobile or snowmobile/atv combo club you can purchase a discounted pass for $10 from the AWSC by going on AWSC.org using your member number. If you don’t know your member number, you can search member inquiry on that site.

•Out-of-State trail pass is $50.

•Where do I purchase a trail pass?
You can visit the link to view DNR sales agents https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/dabc4671b80f4837a7511ca5fcfb7fef to purchase or you can purchase online. Allow 21 days to get your sticker. **No DNR sales agent can print a sticker, that will be mailed from the DNR. You will get a temporary operating receipt printed or emailed you can ride with. It will expire in 21 days from purchase so your sticker will arrive to your mailing address within 21 days.

•To purchase online.
You can log into your Go Wild DNR account at gowild.wi.gov. ***Starting Jan 1st 2026 you now need to log in with your user name and password, you will not be able to do an account look up. If you do not remember your log in you can reset it by having you username emailed to you and then reset your password. If you do not remember the email or have troubles call DNR customer service at 888-936-7463 (888-WDNRINFO).
***You also can purchase without logging in by going to Go Wild, at the top click “Quick Sale” then “Trail Passes” then chose resident or non-resident. For resident you will need your registration number, for non-resident just your make and model.

•Where do I display the sticker?
Bottom center of windshield. It can not be in your pocket or storage, must be adhered.

Happy Riding!

Unpopular opinion after today’s ride: stop signs 🛑 mean stop.

Not “slow down.” Not “roll through.” Not “everyone but me.”

They’re there for a reason.

Stay safe. Ride right.
