โค๏ธ HAWKINSVILLE & SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES โ WE ARE TRULY OVERWHELMED WITH GRATITUDE. โค๏ธ
I have started writing this post several times because I honestly don't know how to put into words what the last couple of days have meant to me, my bakers, and our entire staff at The Cozy Crumb Bakery.
I made a post that wasn't particularly easy for me to make. I was honest with you. I told you that our little bakery needed your support.
And you heard me.
But more than that โ you showed up.
You came through our doors. You bought cupcakes, cookies, cheesecakes, cakes, brownies and treats for your families and coworkers. You placed orders. You told your friends about us. You shared our posts and helped get our name in front of people who may not have known we were here.
And because of all of YOU, we had a SELL-OUT WEEK. ๐ฅนโค๏ธ
With that being said, we apologize in advance that we will only have a few select items left in the cases Friday morning, however, we will have donuts out around 9:00 a.m. so I hope you will come and get some. (I don't want to eat donuts all weekend, so please come in).
There were moments over these last couple of days when I stood back and looked around the bakery โ customers coming through the door, my staff working, the cases getting emptier and emptier โ and I don't think I can adequately describe how that felt.
You gave me hope.
Hope that this little bakery has a place in this community. Hope that all of the long days, early mornings, late nights, worry, planning, baking and hard work are worth it. And most importantly, hope that we can keep going.
When you own a small business, no matter what business it is, every person who walks through the door matters. Every single purchase matters. It doesn't matter if you spend $5 or $50. When enough people choose to spend those dollars locally, they add up to something incredibly important.
They keep our ovens running.
They keep our employees working.
They allow us to buy ingredients and fill those cases again.
And they allow us to continue doing what we love โ bringing something special to this community.
I also want to take a moment to recognize my bakers, Mikaela, Jailen, and Aubrey, these three work incredibly hard behind the scenes. They have all been a true blessing to have at the bakery. There are early mornings, long days, dishes that never seem to end, batches upon batches of dough and frosting, and a whole lot of work that customers never see. They put their hearts into what goes into those cases, and I am incredibly thankful for each of them. A little shout out to my family as well, who helps with the cleaning, the shopping, and maintenance on the equipment, and showing up when help is needed
And then there's YOU.
To every person who walked through our doors โ thank you.
To everyone who placed an order โ thank you.
To everyone who shared or commented on one of our posts โ thank you.
To everyone who tagged a friend, told a coworker, brought someone new into the bakery or simply said, "We want you to stay" โ thank you.
You may never fully understand what those words and actions meant to me this week.
Hawkinsville and our surrounding communities, you wrapped your arms around this little bakery when we needed it most. You reminded us that The Cozy Crumb isn't just our business โ it's becoming part of this community.
Now our job is to keep earning that support.
We'll keep baking. We'll keep trying new things. We'll keep filling those cases with goodies. We'll keep listening to what you want to see from us. And we'll keep doing everything we can to make The Cozy Crumb Bakery a place you're proud to call your local bakery.
A simple "thank you" doesn't seem nearly big enough.
But please know that when I say it, I mean it with my whole heart.
Thank you for showing up.
Thank you for choosing local.
Thank you for believing in us.
And thank you for giving me hope to keep going.
We hope to be baking for Hawkinsville for many years to come.
With more gratitude than I can possibly express,
The Cozy Crumb Bakery Team ๐ง๐ช๐ฐโค๏ธ
