The inside of every homemade croissant tells a story. A story about the baker, as each layer represents a step of the process.

It tells of early mornings and patient hands. Of waiting when it would be easier not to. Of trusting that something delicate can still be strong.

And if you look closely, you can see every part of that story in the layers. This is how I like to eat, I want to read the story that’s in the masterpiece.

🍋🌈 Introducing Addi’s Lemon Cookie Cake 🌈🍋

Today is a very special day in our family—our daughter Addi turns 9! 🎉

If you know Addi, you know that her favorite desserts have one thing in common: LEMON. From lemon cookies to lemon cake, if it’s bright, citrusy, and cheerful, she’s all in. So to celebrate her birthday, we spent some time in the kitchen creating a dessert inspired by her.

Addi’s Lemon Cookie Cake is a soft, sugar-cookie-style cake flavored with lemon and vanilla, topped with our house-made lemon buttercream, and decorated in vibrant colors using all-natural food dyes. It’s sweet, bright, colorful, and full of personality—just like our girl.

This 9” cookie cake serves 8–10 and will be available as a special menu item this week while supplies last.

As a small family bakery, some of our favorite menu items are the ones that tell a story. This one is especially close to our hearts. 💛
