Goll's Bakery Goll's Bakery, Family Owned & Operated since 1930 ~ tried and true! We are a 4th generation old~time German bakery.

We continue to make all of our baked goods the way Pop Pop did when he started this business in the 1930's. Walking into Goll`s Bakery is like stepping into old fashioned comfort!! We take pride in our business and appreciate those who have been our faithful customers over 90 years and all the folks who have recently found us! Loving what we do, using quality ingredients, and baking our goods with pride, we invite future customers to try us! We offer special order bakery items such as birthday cakes, cupcakes, along with our rolls, breads, and croissants, etc.. Find us on 234 North Washington Street in our wonderful historical city by the bay!

I received a gift today from a few family friends who decided instead of flowers, we might enjoy this painting.

It is going in the bakery window for inspiration. Chief Sticky Bun is overlooking the operation. I feel much better.

Thank you Ezra. I love it! You captured him perfectly.

Now on to year 92 - 100!

Probably reached more local residents than any other HDG FB Page. Which is why local businesses still post on this page.

This week someone posted Golls Bakery was selling promotional items with their name. People who clicked, at least one person, experienced their computer crashing. The post has been removed.

Golls is not selling memorabilia. However, they would like to sell this great Facebook audience to another HDG business instead of just shutting it down.

He was a simple, kind, and funny man. He didn't care for me taking photos of him. He preferred to talk and share his wisdom and humor.

But some things are worth revisiting on the holidays. So I hope the family doesn't mind I came back to share this for all the Gracians who will always miss this bakery downtown and the ENTIRE GOLL FAMILY for this gift.

I took the liberty of thinking you all might like a peek back into the best part of our ghosts of Havre de Christmas Past! And where ever any of you Goll folks are...just know....you are missed and still loved for almost 100 years of keeping us sweet.

Bobby Sr. loved colored lights. He is making cream puffs here. In the 1950s/60s Mr. Goll would make big vats of eggnog in the bakery and all their friends and firemen families would gather in the alley between the bakery and our house for a big holiday party!

Those Golls...it was perfect choreography when Bobby Sr., Jr., Susie, and the rest of the family were baking during the holidays.
