I am closing a chapter in my life that will forever hold a place in my heart. This week has completed every dream I ever imaged to come from my small town bakery I started.

The bakery packed with customers the past 4 days, cards, flowers, messages, hugs, and a very special anonymous surprise gift on my doorstep has made me realize over and over my dream was a success because of each of you. Thank you for the forever friendships that have been formed and the people that I have crossed paths with.

My next chapter will be filled with these sweet boys, more fun with friends and family, a little less stress, and a lot more sleep...

We are wrapping up our final few days here at the bakery. There are no words to thank each one of you for supporting me. As I have seen you come in for your last lunch or that last cookie know that I will always remember you. This week has been so hard seeing the end finally in sight.

A few things:
*We are unable to take on any more orders/holds for the remaining few days.

*Our cases and inventory out front are going to start going down each day as we slow down our production.

*We are having a close out bakery sale on the following days for everything inside the bakery:
Thursday, December 19th & Friday, December 20th from 3:00pm-6:00pm.
This will include all big equipment, tables/chairs, pans, bowls, platters, cake stands, cake decorating supplies, cookie cutters, containers, decorations, and so so much more! Check back next week for more details.

Happy Thanksgiving!

It is so bittersweet as we finish our last busy holiday. We are so thankful for each of you who have always supported us for your holiday desserts.

We have been at it for hours + hours finishing up all the yummy desserts.
We do have some extras and our cases are full with lots of treats, so stop in and see us. Open 6-4.

The dream of opening my own bakery became a reality 8½ years ago. My life has changed a lot since then, and the demands of work have been increasingly difficult to maintain. It has become especially tough to balance work and family life as our boys have grown older.

I have made the decision to close Fresh Baked on December 14th. This did not come easy. I’ve had weeks of sleepless nights and it brings me to tears seeing my dream and passion close. However, I know that this decision is the best for my family and myself at this time.

I will miss your daily stops for coffee, being a part of your special occasions, the meet up place for friends, the glass smudged bakery cases as your kiddos picked out a treat, and the conversations that I’ve shared with all of you.

I would not have been able to have this dream become a success without YOU coming in. Thank you for all your support through the years!

Jill, our pastry chef and the boys’ favorite person to give hugs to made a beautiful bride today and we got to be a part of her amazing day! The triplets got to be the ring bearers and show off their handsome bow ties 😍
