Always be considerate of others. 💕

These are from Valentine’s Day, but I think it’s a message the world needs right now ❤️
I am reminded of an awesome phrase that my son’s second-grade teacher would say frequently to the kids, and that was, “Be second in 2nd.” (Thanks Mr. D!) It was a clever way to teach them that they should always be considerate of others. In a world plagued with selfishness and hatred, I think this very basic lesson is important for everyone, and it’s worth repeating.
I’m going to keep doing my best to teach my kids that they can change the world with this type of love - by always being mindful of the needs of others, being kind and empathetic, and being respectful and honoring their commitments to others.
