What the Dickens? Classic British Tea, Sweets, Treats, Sandwiches, and Savories What the Dickens? is co-owned by Beth Funkey, an Anglophile, and Caroline Kemp, an Anglo.

Our mission is to bring authentic experiences of the British Isles through teatime traditions and flavors. We currently operate as a pop-up bakery, everything is baked to order to bring you the freshest, flavorful treat. We do all of our baking in the Bistro Below, underneath Winestyles. offer a wide variety of baking services including speciality cakes for birthdays, weddings and any other occasion you might want a cake for! We can also cater for baby showers, bridal showers, anniversary and retirement parties etc. Additionally, every Friday we offer Tea for Two (or more) in a Tin (T42T), a selection of baked goodies for you to pick up from the Bistro Below (Winestyles) to enjoy at home. No matter what you order WtD? does it, with their special ingredient: love! Our goal is to have our own storefront and tearoom in downtown Hastings, so watch this space! He came to us as a cake decorator, but if you've enjoyed our shortbread biscuits, chances are his skill is behind them. Stop by and wish Michael a happy birthday!
