There were not many, but I finally posted everything I was able to make since my shoulder. I unfortunately had to turn down way more, but I'm slowly getting back to normal. Still have days with discomfort and pain but for the most part I can tell when it's starting up, so I know when to stretch or workout my shoulder a little extra. But even knowing doesn't always stop or lessen the discomfort enough, so I have to be careful when making decisions to take on projects.

Hello to all my family, friends and wonderful customers! Just wanted to give a friendly update. I was recently "diagnosed" with Adhesive Capsulitis (aka Frozen Shoulder). I put it in quotes, because I know there are many people dealing with worse than this. However, I have never felt pain quite like this...and I've had three children. 🙂

A little information on it, for those interested or don't want to google it:

"Frozen shoulder, also called adhesive capsulitis, is a painful condition in which the movement of the shoulder becomes limited. Frozen shoulder occurs when the strong connective tissue surrounding the shoulder joint (called the shoulder joint capsule) become thick, stiff, and inflamed."

I am currently doing physical therapy and may even get to enjoy Cortisone injections. This of course is in my dominant arm. ☹️ Some days are better than others and some days are terrible, but there is no quick fix. I have been advised by my doctor that this is something that could be 1-2 years before I am completely back to normal (full mobility and pain free).

With that, PLEASE, PLEASE, do not hesitate to check in or ask about a cake or cupcakes. Worst you will hear is that I am still not able to do it yet. I hate not being able bake and do something that I love so much but hopefully I will be healthy sooner than they say and get to it.

I appreciate all the love, support and orders over the years and hope to be back soon!
