🍂 Fall Baking Is Back… Somebody Just Forgot to Tell Georgia. 😂☀️

Y’all, this heat is absolutely KILLING my fall baking vibes. 😭 Fall is usually the season where I thrive in the kitchen, and meanwhile Georgia has apparently decided we need another round of summer.

BUT… CAKE IS FINALLY BACK ON THE CART! 🎂❤️

I know it has been way too long since I’ve had cake slices out, and I’m sorry about that. With everything I’ve had going on lately, cakes have just been one of the harder things for me to find enough time to get done.

But I think these were worth the wait because y’all… these might genuinely be some of the BEST cake slices I’ve made yet. 👀

🍁 Maple Pecan Cake — Spiced cake layered with homemade pecan pie filling and caramel buttercream. And that pecan pie filling?! BOMB. 😂 I did my thang with that one.

🍎 Apple Spice Cake — Warm spiced apple cake layered with cinnamon vanilla buttercream and finished with a buttery cinnamon streusel topping. This one tastes like fall decided to become a cake. 🍂

Seriously, if you've been waiting for cake to come back, THIS is the batch to come get. ❤️

And we're bringing back another fall favorite!

🎃 Pumpkin Spice Molasses Cookies are on the cart! These were a hit last fall when Whipped Deelights was just getting started, so I'm SO excited to have them back for another season.

I'm also in the kitchen working on our NEW Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookies! 🍪 I wasn't happy with my first batch of homemade toffee—it just didn't have that deep caramelized flavor I wanted—so I scrapped it and started over.

Second batch? THAT'S the one. 😂🙌

I can't wait to hear what y'all think once those cookies make their way out!

I would love to get the cart loaded down with more cookies and brownie slices right now, but with how insanely hot it is, I don't trust this weather not to destroy them. Thankfully, temperatures are supposed to come back down starting Sunday, so expect a much fuller cart then and heading into next week! ❤️

There will also be no Fresh Bake Friday this week because of the heat, but I've been thinking about bringing some of last year's fall favorites back into the Fresh Bake rotation...

Thank y'all for being patient with me while the cart has been a little lighter than normal lately. I'm finally getting more baking time back, the fall menu is starting to roll out, and I'm ready to get Whipped Deelights back on schedule next week.

Now if somebody could just tell the WEATHER that it's fall baking season, I'd appreciate it. 😂🍂❤️

After this morning’s little adventure 😂, I finally have 4 pans of Cinnamon Rolls fresh from the oven and out on the cart!

They’re fresh, they’re ready, and there are only 4 pans available, so come grab one while they’re here! 😋

🍪 Quick cookie update:
The cookies are looking a little bare right now—there’s only 1 Chocolate Chip left along with some Signature XL Birthday Cake Cookies.

BUT I’m working on it! 😂 Cookies will be restocked later today, so I’ll keep y’all updated.

😂 The Cinnamon Rolls ARE Coming… Just a Little Later Than Planned!

Y’all, I really did try to have my life together this morning. 😂 I woke up extra early specifically so I could get the cinnamon rolls made and out on the cart this morning.

Then the chaos began.

First, I couldn’t find my recipe because apparently I decided to put it somewhere different than where I normally keep it. So I ran around looking for that.

Found it. Great. Moving on.

Then I went to make the dough and couldn’t find my mixer’s dough hook. 🤦‍♀️ So there I went AGAIN, searching everywhere for it.

Where was it?

Exactly where I always keep it. 😂 I swear that thing was invisible the first five times I looked.

So after spending about two hours running around my kitchen like a crazy person, I can officially report that the cinnamon rolls are FINALLY made and currently proofing in the oven! 🙌

They’ll be out on the cart later today, and I’ll make another post as soon as they’re ready! ❤️

Sorry I’ve been such a mess lately, y’all. 😂 I’m trying to get myself back together over here!

But hey… Cinnamon Rolls are coming! And that’s what matters. 😂❤️

💕 A Little Saturday Update 💕

I realized this morning that I completely forgot to tell y’all there wouldn’t be a Fresh Bake Friday yesterday. 😅 But I promise I had a pretty good reason for being distracted…

I finally got to bring my mom HOME from the hospital! ❤️

After the last few weeks of hospital visits, long drives, and trying to keep the bakery going in between, I’m now able to care for her at home—and I’m very thankful to finally have her here. ❤️

So I was thinking we might need a little something sweet to celebrate… 👀

If there’s enough interest, I’m thinking about making Cinnamon Rolls and putting them out on the cart Sunday morning as a little better-late-than-never Fresh Bake Friday! 😂

Would anybody be interested?

❤️ A Little Friday Cart Update ❤️

Y’all, I owe you a little update—and an apology to anyone who was looking forward to cupcakes today.

Earlier this week, I managed to throw my back out pretty badly. Between the long drives back and forth to the hospital and spending so much time sitting in those wonderfully comfortable hospital chairs 😅, apparently my back finally decided walking was no longer an option for me. 😂

Unfortunately, that took away a lot of the limited baking time I had this week, so I wasn't able to get the White Chocolate and Lemon Cream Cupcakes finished for the cart like I planned. I’m really sorry to anyone who was looking forward to them! I’ll announce it here as soon as they're out and ready. 🧁❤️

There will also be no Fresh Bake Friday today.

The good news is I'm getting some mobility back, which means the ovens are ON! 🙌 I'm just moving a little slower than usual. I'll be spending today trying to make up for some lost time and getting the cart stocked back up.

And for everyone who has been asking about them… Chocolate Chip Cookies WILL be back Saturday! 🍪❤️

One more important thing—if you reserved Coffee Cake, yours WILL be fresh out of the oven and ready for you this morning! ☕️💕 I made sure those weren't getting left behind.

Thank y'all for continuing to be patient with me while life keeps throwing a few extra things onto my plate. I'm doing my best to keep Whipped Deelights going through it all, even if I'm moving around the kitchen a little slower this week. ❤️

If y’all love having individual brownie slices at the cart, they may just earn themselves a permanent spot! 👀

🥵 It’s officially TOO HOT!
With this extreme heat wave sticking around, I’ve decided to keep the Whipped Deelights cart closed through Monday and reopen Tuesday when temperatures are supposed to finally give us a little break.
As much as I’d love to keep the cart stocked, I don’t think my cookies, cupcakes, chocolate—or honestly anything else 😂—need to be sitting out in this kind of heat.
Thank y’all for understanding! ❤️ We had a great morning at the farmers market today, and I appreciate everyone who came out early to see us before it got too hot.
I’ll use the little break to get some baking done and have the cart ready to go again Tuesday! 🍪🧁💕
