I’ve had the absolute honor of creating desserts for this couple’s bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, wedding reception, and baby shower - and now I’ll soon be making desserts for their baby girl’s baptism! 🥹✨

If that’s not the biggest compliment, I don’t know what is. Getting to be a small part of your family’s most special moments over the years truly means the world to me. There’s no better feeling than watching your families grow and being invited back to help celebrate each milestone with you through desserts. 🤍

Hi friends! 🩵 I wanted to share a few life updates since I’ve been a little quiet on here lately.

At the end of June, I got married!! We celebrated with all of our closest family and friends then in July/August, we’ve spent a few weeks exploring Portugal relaxing on the beaches, wandering through beautiful cities & the countryside, visiting historical monuments and making our way into just about every bakery we could find to get inspired!

Life has been wonderfully busy, but I’m so excited to get back into the kitchen soon and create desserts for all of your special celebrations. If you’ve submitted an inquiry form or are waiting to hear back from me, I’ll be catching up on messages this week as we head home from our honeymoon.

During our wedding planning, the question I was asked more than any other was, “Are you really going to make your own wedding cake?”

The answer was always an easy yes.

Baking has always been one of the ways I show love, so creating our wedding cakes felt incredibly special. But the sweetest part was being able to recreate my husband’s grandparents’ wedding cake using the very same cake topper from their wedding day. It was more than just a cake - it was an ode to the love that came before us, a quiet way of honoring their lasting legacy, and a reminder that true love can span generations.

In addition to our cutting cake, I baked 20 small cakes for each guest to enjoy at their table. Seeing them adorned with fresh fruit and flowers by Made by Moriah | Wisconsin Wedding Florist made them even more special, and getting to share that with the people we love most is something I’ll always cherish.
