Our company has went through a system clean out ( cleaning out of all augers , Grain bins and mill rocks ) During this time , you may have noticed an empty shelf at your local grocery store. Please be assured that this was not for lack of working . But there is an agent in ALL corn called alpatoxoin. Our product tested slightly over the margin allowed . Our product is allowed 20 PPB ( parts per billion ) . We closely worked with the state of Alabama Ag and industries and we now have the levels well under the margin . We were not forced to take products off the shelf . We did that voluntarily . Please know that we only want the best for our customers and we pulled the products only to be sure . We are now back fully running and all shelves should be restocked . I would like to thank all of our stores and customers for being so understanding and reaching out . We LOVE to hear from all of you . We will never forget you all are the backbone of our small family business and we could never thank you enough for your sweet words of encouragement and for being such great people . We could never do what we do if it was not for our AMAZING customers . We are blessed with THE best ! Now let’s get to eating some CORNBREAD ! We’re proud to bring our stone-ground, locally made cornmeal to the shelves of another great store—go grab a bag and batter up them fish it’s getting bout that time!
