At Daylight Donuts, we take food safety, cleanliness, and the quality of our donuts very seriously.

After a recent Facebook post made unfounded claims about our kitchen practices, the Cass County Health Department conducted a complaint inspection on May 4. The report found no evidence confirming the complaint and stated that Daylight Donuts is in essential compliance with local health codes.

We understand people may have concerns when they see something online, but we also believe it’s important to share the facts. While we will not argue online or attack anyone personally, we do believe customers deserve to know there is more context behind the complaint than what was shared publicly.

Our donuts are made fresh from scratch every day, and we are proud of the work our team puts into serving this community. We invite anyone with questions to stop by, meet us, and taste the fresh, soft, melt-in-your-mouth donuts we’re proud to make daily.
