So excited to add one of my all time favorite treats to the menu! Black and White “cookies” is what they are known as in the US. In Germany we call them Americans - it is said to be called Americans because during WWII Americans couldn’t pronounce “plätzchen” which means Cookie. The Cookie is more like a cake though! Come in and try one! You’ll love it!

Yesterday we had to make 4 extra sets of Cinnamon Rolls - which is a huge blessing - but that is something we cannot accommodate today.
We worked until 10pm and came back at 5am to make sure we have lots of goodies for you.

It’s a frosty day at Bona Fide. Thank goodness our new furnace was installed today!
We have decided to close early.
We will close at 2:30pm
And will be back tomorrow - opening at 10:30am - we want our staff to drive during daylight and slowly to arrive safely.
With that being said! Shout out to Mama who braved the cold and the roads today to work with me. As well as my husband for hanging out, prepping and doing dishes!

We originally posted until 2pm because we had a different Santa booked, but he got sick and had to get a new Santa. We since deleted the post on our end, but it seems it still showed up for some people.

I love when customers send me pics of events and gatherings they had our treats at. This Grandma spoils her 10+ kiddos every year with a cookie decorating day. We made all the sugar cookies for them to decorate. When we delivered, she gifted Jack a Christmas gift ❤️ we are so blessed with the best community.

Today we finally got ALL the hot cocoa things in! this will be an epic Hot Cocoa Bar!
There will be traditional hot cocoa, white cocoa, strawberry powder, caramel sauce, strawberry sauce, peppermint sticks, candy canes, marshmallows, whipped cream, cookie sticks and so much more cool stuff!
The “All you can drink” Hot Cocoa Bar can be enjoyed for only $5 per person!
Our staff generously decided that All the tips during this event will be donated to the Cass County Toy Shop and Bona Fide Bakery will match what they raise!

I’m going to start introducing Italian meringue buttercream into the Macarons. It’s a silky smooth, meringue based buttercream with less sugar and phenomenal flavor. It will be made with quality European butter, which has a much higher fat content, and in return gives a much richer flavor! French Macarons are originally filled with meringue buttercream, ganaches, jam and curds. Since I am BONA FIDE, it is my mission to serve as many authentic flavors as possible!

Hey everyone! My Name is Jennifer Robinson, and I’m your baker. I’ve been passionate about baking for as long as I can remember. I grew up in Germany, and about 99% of the things we ate were home made. My mom is the queen of cooking and my Oma and her sister are the queens of baking. I took every opportunity I could to learn from them. In 2015 a friend suggested to start selling my baked goods, so i DID! I love making cookies, cupcakes, French Macarons and cakes - I don’t usually make character type cakes. I prefer bundt cakes, drip cakes and other fun, creative, delicious cake creations.

I was the winner of the Ultimate Family Box last week. Could, I say there wasn't anything in this box that DIDN'T disappoint. The cookies; a family of 4 can eat off of one, they were so yummy. I have never had a cocoa bomb before and OMG, it was delicious and the macaroons were by far the best I've ever had. I even have to give a huge thank you for even delivering them to me. Thank you for your generosity in having this giveaway and good luck moving forward in your future full time endeavors.
Tried the macarons for the first time on Saturday, I bought a lemon blueberry, a strawberry cheesecake and a cinnamon roll... They were so good I went back and bought a dozen strawberry cheesecake, I highly recommend their macarons and will definitely be a return customer!!! 😋😋😋
