It’s been a while since Cody and I had a little date day!
After a full morning of baking, we headed south to a treasure of a place!
My goodness, it did not disappoint!!
A dear friend of ours told us about this adorable little place in Leslie- about an hour south of Harrison!

We enjoyed a delicious meal right outside on the front porch amongst the beautiful flowers and chirping birds!!
I’m sure the inside was just as adorable but we didn’t even tour it as we asked for an outside table!
As we were waiting for our food, we noticed the demographics of people were all over the map…like seriously, families with young kids, elderly, business dressed couples, farmers, college age students, baseball teams dressed in uniforms, city workers, common folks like you and me…we couldn’t figure it out. It was like all walks of life were eating at this tiny, adorable little restaurant!
We ventured up to the Little Shop on the Hill and after talking with the sweet lady who worked there we learned that it was Homecoming Weekend for this tiny little town of Leslie!!
It all made sense after that!!!
No wonder we were seeing “everyone”, but the President of the United States, come eat at this tucked away, gem of a place!!!
We will be back Skylark Cafè…with friends!!!💜🥰
