It's Small Win Wednesday. The Bakeshop is closed on Wednesdays and I'm trying to find the positive bits of life more regularly. I want to help celebrate your small wins with you! I'll start! First, oof, finding a small win today was hard! It's the anniversary of something I don't want to remember, today is the deadline I gave myself for a heavy looming task, I had to go to five stores to find an ingredient for a special order, the tarot card I pulled this morning (I pull one every morning to slowly teach myself) was the worst one of the deck (I literally started crying), and I had to go into the shop for a few hours to prep. All manageable but not ideal for a day off. But! While working at the shop, I got a check-in call from one of my sisters just because. So my small win today is someone else realizing what I needed before I even did (thanks, kiddo).

Our donation to YWCA Hanover Safe Home this week to benefit survivors of domestic violence.

The need is still there so we will continue our collection in the Bakeshop. Wishlist attached. I deliver on Wednesdays. Every little bit helps our community!

We've done quite a few wedding tastings recently and the buttercream plates always look so cute! I am a firm believer in trying the parts separately (and then together) to truly ensure you find the flavor that matches your vision. Send a message if you are interested in planning a tasting. They need to be coordinated with my after hours schedule and are designed for two people, four flavors of cake, and as many buttercream flavors as you would like to try.

On Cookie Day, we'll also be supporting the Library again! We're bringing back our banned book menu and profits will benefit the Library! And I believe you can sign up for a Library card in person too! More details to come!

The month-long countdown to this year's library fundraiser starts tomorrow... and so do specials at some of your favorite spots in York County!
