If you have a child that will be four (4) years old before July 1, 2026, and you would be interested in a full-time four day preschool program, please complete the survey by May 1, 2026.

Do you want to have a voice in shaping the future of Mingo Central High School? Here’s your chance to be part of something meaningful! 🎓✨

We’re now accepting nominations for Parent Representatives on our Local School Improvement Council (LSIC) – a team that works hand-in-hand with school leadership to spark innovation, support student success, and bring our school community together! 🤝📚

You must be a parent of a current student to make a nomination, and you can nominate yourself as long you are currently a parent of one our students!

🌟 What does the LSIC do?
✔️ Collaborates with staff and administrators
✔️ Helps drive innovation and excellence
✔️ Encourages community and family involvement
✔️ Meets every 9 weeks to make real impact
✔️ Plays a key role in school decision-making

We need 3 dedicated parents or guardians to serve a 2-year term on the LSIC.
🛑 Parent members CANNOT be employed by MCHS in any capacity.

Looks like Mingo county finally has a real snow day. I am looking forward to seeing all the pics of the kids playing in the snow….some of my favorite memories are being outside with Tiffany Nicole England when it snowed!
Sled riding, building snowmen, building a snow house, spraying the snow creations with colored water, snow angels….🩷⛄️🩷⛄️🩷
