After our oven decided to burn everything this morning (it’s big broke), we’ve made the incredibly hard decision to hang up our hats with the cottage bakery for now.

For the last 6 months, we’ve absolutely loved meeting y’all, talking with y’all, and filling the shelves with homemade treats. We’re so thankful for every order, every kind word, every returning customer, and everyone who supported our little bakery along the way.

With homeschooling, life, our own well-being, financial challenges, and now a broken oven, we just aren’t in a place right now where we can keep the shelves stocked the way we want to.

We aren’t leaving Peddlers completely though! We’ll still be keeping our antique portion of our booth. We love our Peddlers family. They have supported us and our little business in so many ways, and we are beyond thankful for them.

Maybe one day, when the time is right and we’re ready, you’ll see our sourdough back on the shelves again. But for now what’s currently on the bakery shelves will be the last of it. So y’all better come grab it while you can!

We truly want to wish the next cottage baker who joins Peddlers nothing but success. We hope they have as much fun, make as many memories, and fall in love with this little community just like we did.

Thank you for the last 6 months. Truly. This little bakery became so much more than just baking..

Uh, yall.
We may not be restocking sourdough today. Something is wrong with my oven. 🥲

I turned it on 450 like I always do and I’ve been standing here with my thermometer temp checking to make sure it gets to 205-210 degrees in the center to be fully cooked.. by the time it reached 205 it was extremely crisp on the outside. I’m not selling this. 💀

We will be taking fresh apple spice cakes today! I’m so sorry yall! Sourdough takes time, and I don’t have enough time to slap some more out today!

I’m gonna go cry with my three burnt bacon loaves now. 😂 (& feed my starter to make more loaves)

We still have fudge, no bakes, pickled onions, and pickled jalapeños!

Three fresh loaves and some more fresh fudge heading to The Peddlers Emporium later today!!
There’s plain sourdough and one jalapeno cheddar sourdough still there from yesterday which was fresh baked yesterday! We also have fresh no-bakes and oatmeal cream pies from yesterday’s restock still!🫶

We’ll be restocking 2 pizza loaves, 1 jalapeño cheddar loaf, & 3 peanut butter fudge packs later tomorrow evening at The Peddlers Emporium!

There’s still plain sourdough baked fresh today! We also have seasoning mixes, pickled onions, pickled jalapeños, eggs, & sourdough starter available!🫶

Our Thursday drop is still on and we’ll be having Bacon Barnyard Melt & pizza sourdough! Apple spice layer cakes in jars! & of course our pb fudge and no-bakes!

We’re sold out of pizza sourdough! We have 1 peanut butter fudge & 1 jalapeno cheddar sourdough still. We have no bakes & oatmeal cream pies as well! We will be dropping off a couple more loaves of bread and some more fudge tomorrow so our shelves aren’t empty waiting on Thursdays drop!🫶🫶
