💜✨ Celebrating Women-Owned Businesses in Hampton!

This Women’s Small Business Month, we’re excited to celebrate the women entrepreneurs who bring their creativity, passion, and ideas to Hampton. Their businesses add so much energy and personality to our community, and we’re proud to highlight the women making their mark right here in our city.

Take some time this month to discover, visit, and support a local woman-owned business in Hampton! 💜

This woman is a FORCE to be reckoned with! Sometimes you can get lucky and see her at her retirement plan…the bakery 🤣. She radiates everything an administrator should be and is truly a unicorn 🦄. Hampton City Schools is incredibly fortunate to have her and I am incredibly fortunate to be able to call her my sister (well, Mom calls her daughter) and best friend.

💙💛 October is National Principals Month! Throughout the month, we are shining the spotlight on the outstanding leaders of HCS. We are kicking things off with Langley! Check out this fun fact about Langley’s principal!

Brynne Cere – Langley Elementary School
Years in education: 20
Fun Fact about me: I taught at Langley and am now the principal at Langley!

A few things today! Did you know we have our espresso machine UP AND RUNNING! What is better than a latte and a scone? Maybe a coffee and a muffin? The combinations are endless!

I did it. I made soup. It’s October 1st and I’m channeling my inner witchy cauldron ways. Brunswick stew is IN THE FRIDGE!

I ALSO made Chicken Pot Pies to help make this week easier for folks this week. Look, we’re all going through something and use this as a sign to take something off of your plate. Dinner is served.

Willow Woods Equine Sanctuary & Farm Spirit Day is TOMORROW and we will be open until 5pm to make it more convenient. Please come by and support and amazing cause! We are excited to give back to such a cool organization.

We had the most amazing opportunity to serve our City! 1300 cookies walked out of these doors which is a feat that deserves incredible recognition to the folks here for making it happen. Sara, Maia, Sam, Kieran, Annette and Mom, thank you. City of Hampton thank YOU!!! Proof that this tiny little spot here on the corner is NOT to be underestimated. You would think I have a staff of 100 with what these folks can do!
