Got my new sign up at my dad’s house today and baked the first thing I’ve made to sell in three months. It’s a little bittersweet.

The first thing out of my kitchen was Dubai brownies, and those were my dad’s absolute favorite. Part of me still wants to pick up the phone and say, “Hey Dad, I made some brownies. Want me to bring you some?” But I can’t.

He was always trying to be my salesman. No matter where he was working, he’d be telling people about my bakery and trying to bring my sweets to his jobs. He was one of my biggest supporters and was always so proud of what I was building.

Some days are harder than others, and today is one of those days. But I know he’d be proud to see me getting back in the kitchen and doing what I love again. I like to think he’s smiling down on me, cheering me on every step of the way.

Here’s to new beginnings, carrying his memory with me in every batch I make. ❤️

Finally got around to making my husband’s birthday cake. His birthday was March 9th, but that was the day after we buried my dad. At the time, I just couldn’t bring myself to do anything baking-related. My dad was one of my biggest supporters and always encouraged me to keep going with my business.

The last few months have been incredibly hard, but I’m slowly finding my way back to the kitchen. This cake may seem small to some, but for me, it’s a big step forward.

I’m excited (and a little nervous) to share that I plan to start easing back into my business and begin accepting orders again starting the week of June 8th. Thank you all for your patience, support, and kindness during this difficult season. ❤️

Hey guys!

I am hoping to start accepting orders again the week of June 8th! I will be starting out slowly as I get settled back into the kitchen and back into my baking routine.

I must admit, I am very nervous about getting back into the business after being away for a while and navigating all of the changes that have happened over the past few months. But I am also excited to get back to doing something I truly love and have missed so much.

At this time, I will only be accepting the following forms of payment:
• Cash
• Venmo
• Square
• Payments through my website

Please note that sales tax is not included in menu pricing unless otherwise stated and will be added at checkout where applicable.

As long as nothing comes up, I am planning to make a few sweet treats this weekend as a little test run and to get back into the swing of things. Be on the lookout for those!

If things go well, I am also hoping to start doing some small tent pop-ups right here in my yard. It’s something I’ve been wanting to try for a while, and I think it would be a fun way for y’all to stop by and grab some fresh baked goodies.

Hey y’all!

I figured I’d take a quick break from cleaning and unpacking. These last few days have been exhausting, but we’re making progress!

I know a lot of you have been asking when I’ll be back in the kitchen. I was originally shooting to reopen by the 1st, but I still have quite a bit of prep work and organizing to do. Because of that, it may be another week or two before I’m fully up and running.

I’m trying, y’all, I promise! I miss being in the kitchen just as much as y’all miss my bakes. After everything that’s happened over the last few months, getting back to doing what I love means so much to me.

Thank you all for your patience, support, and for sticking with me through this journey. I can’t wait to get back to creating delicious treats for y’all again!

I’ve missed baking so much. 🥹
Tonight we had breakfast for dinner, and I made homemade biscuits from scratch. Just being back in the kitchen reminded me how much I truly love doing this.

We still aren’t in my dad’s house yet, but we’re trying hard to get there. Hopefully the rain holds off long enough this weekend so we can move the big furniture. Once we get settled in, I plan to reopen my bakery back up full-time again. 🤍

I cannot wait to have the space to bake again and get back to doing what I love most. Thank y’all for sticking with me through everything. It truly means more than you know. ✨
