DISAPPOINTING NEWS REGARDING TODAY’S FUSIC FEST:
Hey everyone, I have some incredibly tough news to share.
I arrived at the Ameristar Casino today fully packed and ready to serve you my fresh, homemade poundcakes at the Fusic Fest. Unfortunately, upon arrival, I was informed by event staff that all outdoor food tent vendors have been cancelled for the day due to high winds and rain.
As many of you know, Annie Mae’s Poundcakes is a one-woman/man operation. I pour my own heart, time, and money into baking these treats from my home kitchen with zero outside help. Because these poundcakes were baked fresh specifically for today’s crowd, I am now sitting on a full inventory of beautiful, delicious cakes that I cannot let go to waste.
I am incredibly disappointed by the lack of notice from the event organizers, but I am turning to my amazing community for support.
