They said “we want to take some pictures in our sheep pasture”. So Reagan gave me a pair of her Crocs to wear and that’s what we did 😍 I’m sooo excited to be welcoming another girl into our family (FINALLY). We all can’t wait to meet her! 🫶🏼

One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is getting invited to capture memories for families year after year. Last year, I met this sweet family for Cohen’s newborn session, and then they came back 6 months later for Christmas pictures, and then a few weeks ago we took his first birthday pictures 😭

As their mom, I want to be more intentional capturing memories of them with my camera. I used to take pictures of Day all the time when he was a baby but as more kids came along, I slowly stopped doing that. I used to love pulling out my camera and just capturing every day, real life moments of them.

I know one day I’ll look back and miss the dried up toothpaste on the sink and mirror, random costumes scattered throughout the house, a baby swing sitting in front of something because we didn’t have anywhere else to put it. These are the days we’ll want back.

This is to all of my past clients: as your doula and/or your birth photographer, I think of you often. I think about your family, your sweet baby (or toddler/child by now 🥹), and I think about you as a mama. I pray you are happy and healthy and living life. If you ever wonder if you’re being thought of, just know that I am.

I pour my heart and soul into my clients. They often become my friends and sometimes they become like family to me. Don’t ever be afraid to reach out to me with an updated picture or just a life update.
