Dear Supporters & Friends of Sugar & Share,
As we close out 2024, I wanted to share an important update for 2025.
After much reflection and with a heavy heart, I’ve made the very difficult decision to close Sugar & Share for an indefinite period. This choice comes as I heal from personal losses/compound grief, and prepare to embark on an exciting new career opportunity—one that will allow me to grow personally, better provide for my family, and build a healthier, more balanced future.
As many of you know, life sometimes brings moments that require us to pause and reassess our priorities. This past year has been one of those moments. The heartbreaking loss of my mother-in-law in August, followed by the loss of another beloved family member on Thanksgiving, has highlighted the importance of being fully present with loved ones, and that life’s most precious moments deserve our full attention. These experiences, coupled with the demands of being a mother, a wife, a daughter, a friend, a professional, and a business owner, have made me realize just how vital it is to prioritize my wellbeing—physically, mentally, and emotionally—so that I can continue to show up as the best version of myself for my family and community during this time.
This decision was not made lightly, especially considering how deeply honored I’ve been to share in your special moments over the past 7 years. Your support, trust, and kindness have meant the world to me, and I will forever carry those memories with deep gratitude. You’ve been more than customers—you’ve been my community & a cherished part of this journey.
While I may not be accepting orders for now, I do hope to return when the time is right, or when the creative spark strikes again. Until then, I will keep my account active to share past creations, and I hope you’ll stay connected as I focus on this next chapter.
