After a few weeks of unexpected downtime, I’m happy to say that T&R’s Cakes are back on our feet and ready for 2026.

Rested, grateful, and excited to get back to doing what I love most — baking delicious desserts, creating custom cakes, and helping celebrate life’s sweetest moments. 🎂🧁

Hey sweet friends 💕 It’s been a quiet month for me as I’ve been down with some chronic back issues (let me tell you, sitting still is not a baker’s strong suit 😅). But I’m finally on the mend and easing back into what I love most — creating edible art!

This weekend I got to share not one, but two special cakes 💫...

⛳ This is the first — my take on an AI-generated golf bag cake design my client shared! I had a blast bringing that digital vision to life in cake form — complete with all the little sports details that made it personal.

🍪 💙 C is for Cookie (and Cake & Cupcakes too!) 💙🍪

For Scarlett’s big day—affectionately known as Scout—I brought Cookie Monster to life in cake form! 🥳 This sweet monster head was hand-piped with hundreds of little buttercream “fur” details, complete with icing fingers clutching his favorite treat (with plenty of crumbs, of course😁).

To make the party extra sweet, matching Cookie Monster cupcakes joined the fun—because one monster is never enough when cookies are involved. 😉

We celebrated sweet Karrington’s 1st birthday with a pool party–themed cake that made a big splash! 💦💙

The number “1” cake was designed to look like a summer pool, complete with colorful beach balls, flip-flops, and waves of buttercream. 🏊‍♂️🎂 And to make the party even sweeter, it was paired with matching beach ball–inspired cupcakes—swirls of bright colors topped with sprinkles and shimmer for the perfect party vibe. 🧁✨

I had the absolute honor of creating this Barbie-inspired cake to celebrate the fabulous birthday of the founder of Extra-Ordinary Birthdays—Schinnel is a phenomenal woman with a heart as big as her vision. 💕

We came together—bakers, partners, and volunteers—to shower her with love and celebrate the incredible work she does to make birthdays magical for children experiencing homelessness.

This cake was my way of saying “thank you” for the joy she spreads year-round. Think vintage glam, pink dreams, and a little extra sparkle—because that’s what she brings to every child’s life. 💄🎂✨
