Since opening the doors to Del Buono’s Pastry Shop, you’ve shown up, shared your favorites, told us what you love—and told us where we could do better.

We’ve been listening.

So we’re making some changes, starting with NEW LOWER PRICES on many of the treats you’ve been coming in for. Because a stop at the neighborhood bakery shouldn’t have to be reserved for a special occasion.

And speaking of treats… October has officially taken over the pastry case. 🎃👻

Look for Halloween-themed cakes, cookies, pastries and plenty of spooky sweets appearing throughout the month—with more seasonal favorites coming as we head toward the holidays.

Lower prices. More reasons to stop in. And a whole lot of good stuff coming for the cozy season.

Get behind the decorating table with award-winning pastry chef Al DiBartolo and learn the techniques that turn a cake into something extraordinary. Our hands-on decorating classes are designed to be fun, creative and approachable, whether you’re a complete beginner or simply want to sharpen your skills.

Each class features a new theme and gives you the chance to learn directly from Al, practice professional decorating techniques and create your own cake to take home and enjoy.

From spooky Halloween creations to seasonal favorites and classic decorating skills, there’s always something new happening at the Kakery.

COZY SEASON STARTS WITH WARM BREAD. 🍂🥖

The mornings are getting cooler. The sweaters are coming out. Soup is officially back on the menu.

And suddenly, nothing sounds better than a loaf of fresh Del Buono’s bread still warm from the bakery.

Slice it thick. Add the butter while it’s warm enough to melt into every little crack. Maybe pour another cup of coffee. Stay awhile.

That’s pretty much our version of hygge. 😉

And with fall officially here, keep an eye on us. We’ve got seasonal offerings and plenty of cozy-weather favorites coming your way.

DiBartolo’s Kakery — The ’Ber Months

IT’S THE ’BER MONTHS IN THE KAKERY. 🍂🎂

September. October. November. December.

Around here, those four little months mean a whole lot of buttercream.

The decorating table is getting busier, the flavors are getting cozier, and Al is heading into the season when cakes get a little more dramatic and desserts become part of practically every gathering.

Think fall birthdays, Halloween creations, Thanksgiving tables, holiday parties, weddings, showers—and all those “we should probably bring something” occasions in between.

And because this is DiBartolo’s Kakery, expect a few fan favorites to make their way back alongside some new seasonal creations. 👀

Pumpkin. Apple. Cinnamon. Chocolate. Buttercream.

Because the answer changes. Donuts you remember. Something you’ve never tried. An old favorite making a comeback. A new idea we’re playing with. And occasionally something that disappears before we even get a chance to tell you about it.

The Pastry Shop is still new, and that’s part of the fun. We’re filling the cases, listening to what you’re asking for and figuring out what deserves a permanent spot.

Think you’ve got what it takes to work alongside Chef Al DiBartolo?

We’re looking for talented bakers and decorators to join the team at Del Buono’s Pastry Shop—and we’re not just looking for someone who can follow a recipe.

We’re looking for skill, creativity, attention to detail and a real love for the craft. The kind of people who look at buttercream, fondant and a blank cake and see possibilities.

You’ll have the chance to learn, create and work alongside Al while becoming part of a South Jersey bakery tradition that’s been bringing people together for 100 years.
