The Place

The Place We assist Marshall County DHR with clothing needs for foster children. We currently are operating out of First Baptist Church of Guntersville.

We are working with Marshall County DHR to clothe children who are taken out of their homes unexpectedly and have nothing but the clothes on their back. All donation of new and gently used clothing items can be dropped off at the church in the Preschool hallway. We have a special need

s board with slips of items that we currently need to help us fill orders. Monetary donations can be made to First Baptist Church of Guntersville with a notation made to designate to "The Place". Please help us get the word out about this ministry. This idea came after we worked at Low Country Orphan Relief in Charleston, SC this summer at Mission Fuge camp. We decided that this needed to be done in our area also. We want to give these children something they can call their own again.
