🌿 THE FARM STAND IS BACK OPEN!

We made it through the hurricane, the plants are back outside, and the Adder’s Fork Farm Stand is officially open again!

We have plenty of plants out for sale right now, including:

• Herbs
• Flowers
• Vegetable starts
• Lots of houseplants
• And more garden goodies!

Look for the big green van!

All of the plants are set up in the driveway near the garage and on the porch. The farm stand is completely self-service, and everything is labeled, so feel free to stop by, browse, and help yourself!

Payment is easy — we have QR codes for PayPal, Cash App, Venmo, and Zelle, as well as a cash box on the porch.

And you can find us out and about this weekend too!

Did you know Adder’s Fork grows FIVE varieties of basil?

Around here, we really love basil. 💚 And right now, the farmstand is looking a little like a basil forest!

We grow:

🌱 Genovese Basil — The classic sweet basil you know and love. Fragrant, flavorful, and perfect for pesto, pasta, pizza, and just about everything else.

🌿 Cinnamon Basil — Sweet and aromatic with a warm, slightly spicy flavor.

🌱 Holy Basil (Tulsi) — An incredibly fragrant herb with a long history of culinary, cultural, and traditional use.

💜 Purple Basil — Beautiful enough for the flower garden and delicious enough for the kitchen. Its deep purple leaves add gorgeous color wherever it grows.

🍋 Lemon & Lime Basil — Bright, citrusy varieties that really do smell like fresh lemon and lime! They add a fun citrus twist anywhere you’d normally use basil.

But one of our favorite things about these plants is where they came from.

We originally purchased our basil seed from another Florida seed company about two years ago. Since then, we’ve allowed some of our plants to flower and go to seed, harvested those seeds ourselves, and planted the next generation each spring. 🌱➡️🌿➡️🌱

We also LOVE propagating basil from cuttings. With a little rooting hormone and the right conditions, basil cuttings can start producing new roots incredibly quickly. It’s one of the easiest and most satisfying plants to learn propagation with!

🌱 Want to grow your own instead? Come find us at one of our markets, where you can pick up seeds, propagation supplies and kits, and the information you need to get growing.

🌿 Weekend Market Update! 🌿
With the hurricane headed our way, all of our markets for this weekend have been canceled. We’re disappointed we won’t get to see you, but we hope everyone stays safe and dry! 💚
The good news is, we already have two chances to see you next weekend! 🌱✨
