For us, business and family have always been connected. In May of 1990 Jon and I had no way of knowing what the creation of a coffee business in Guilford would mean to the family we would soon create. We had an idea, worked hard to make it work and were blessed with three amazing sons along the way! We live in the same town where we work and where our children were educated and now resude. Our daughter-in-law Jaime joined the crew in 2023 and now she and Connor will be welcoming a son in January! Erica Vicino said yes to Austin’s proposal and after 13 years of dating the family it will soon be official! 😉 From the bottom of our hearts we could not thank our loyal and all around awesome customers for their generosity and support! We also thank our son, Justin for his professionalism and his culinary skills that he shares with all of us on a daily basis! Watch out for changes big and small in 2026!! We know that you will be pleasantly surprised!! Finally to the staff that impresses and blesses our business for 84 hours a week every week, 52 weeks a year! We thank Helen Loomis and Rachel Moalli who after 10 years of loyal service left us to find love, marriage and a life filled with less cleaning, we hope!😂 Finally to our rock and our peacekeeper Begzada Spreco! 25 years and counting! She navigates and at times referees working with me, Jon, Justin and Austin on a daily basis and has never once screamed!! She and her family are truly our family and we love being Bosnian with all of them!! Finally and finally, Food is Love. We are here because we are loved and we love one another and we share this love with all of you.
In this coming year, we pray for a kinder planet, for more inner peace and for our community who embraces us and for whom we embrace right back!

This past Saturday evening (4/19/25) our employee Anna Simonalle’s family home was lost in a terrible fire. If you find it in your heart to donate to her family, we would be grateful. Thank you in advance for your kindness.
