Hi there!
We have had several inquiries on where our shop is located. We don't have a physical shop or located in any local shops. We are a small in-home cottage bakery located not far from Sailboat Bridge, Tomcat Corner, and Hickory Grove Fire Department (about 15 minutes outside of town from Walmart). This means our home (kitchen and porch) is our shop.
Here's a little something about us!
I say "we" a lot. I may be the main baker, but my husband and kiddos are a great help. They test out each recipe, help me sell, and are my biggest cheerleaders. I was taught by my grandmother and mom to bake and cook. My first ever meal was bacon and eggs with my grandma while standing on a chair over the stove (this was before everyone being safety conscious). From there, I've been cooking a long time minus my time in the Air Force (we had chow halls). I had a stroke and was diagnosed as diabetic at the end of 2025. Baking has been so helpful in my stroke recovery and I didn't want to give up my breads, bagels or English muffins so Bagel Boutique and Baked Goods was born. Fresh, in home from scratch baked goods.
What we do and make....
Bagels are our signature make and bake. We can also make English muffins (great for those hearty breakfast sandwiches), cookies, yeast breads and rolls (full menu is a tagged post on our page) We, unfortunately, don't make any vegan or gluten free items. From scratch items do contain full sugar, but not all the preservatives and sugars store bought (some items raise my sugar, but not to the level a store bought alternative does. Full disclosure I'm on medication and my sugars are controlled. Each diabetic is different). All our items do or may come in contact with known food allergens. If you have a known food allergy, please let us know. Items that contain peanut butter and seeds are usually made last to prevent cross contamination. All items used are hand washed and then put in the dishwasher for a second wash. All counters and equipment are wiped down regularly.
Thanks for making it this far! It's a long post, but we would love to share our love of home baked goods with the community. If you would like to support our journey, like/follow/give us review/place an order.
Sincerely,
Patricia, Richard and the kiddos
PS I also run Punky's Fiber Arts-Patricia Quinn. It's all locally made crochet items
