So back on January 3rd I made this white cake for Ms. Susan who’s my son’s church teacher still and was the girls til they moved up this past fall. It has almond buttercream in her favorite color of lime green. Then decorated it with wafer paper daisies her favorite flower. Lastly molded some chocolate letters to spell out Happy 79th Birthday. I’m a baker, but by no means a decorator. It’s why I only do simple things and leave that to the fancy bakeries. If you like simple cakes or need other items I can help. These three orders were made back in the afternoon of Christmas Eve. The order of two dozen buckeyes was made for a first time customer for pickup not much longer after boxed. Next was a dozen chocolate cake pops coated with chocolate and festive holiday sprinkles for a multi repeat customer for a drop off at church. Lastly, was two dozen sugar cookies topped with buttercream and a variety of festive holiday sprinkles for a first time customer pickup after our church service. Get these and so much more.

So back on December 21st it happened to be my youngest son’s 4th birthday. He wanted me to make vanilla cupcakes with chocolate buttercream frosting and topped with white chocolate molded rocket ships, Earth and such. So I made these vanilla white chocolate sprinkle cookies back on December 19th for when I did surprise visit to group at church. Only the leader knew I was coming. It was restarted in September, but being run differently now with the book. Sadly, our group pastor had to step down due to his wife’s health. I’m not a leader this turn around as I have a lot going on with homeschool and therapy every Friday for Aurora again.

This order was made for a first time customer back on late night of December 18th to early morning December 19th just before 2 A.M. for morning pickup. It’s 4 inch 3 layer chocolate Chip chocolate frosted gluten and diary free smash cake. As well as a dozen and a half gluten free chocolate chip cupcakes frosted with chocolate buttercream. They are plain and quickly frosted just before pick because that’s what the customer asked for. She and her daughter were decorating it together per her daughter’s birthday request. These two items were a first for me. I had never made a completely dairy and gluten-free cake nor ever made gluten-free cupcakes only gluten-free cookies. Everyone loved them and the girl said it tastes just like when her mom used to bake for her when she was littler. You can order these gluten-free and dairy free items now.

Here’s our Thanksgiving desserts from back on the 27th this year starting with my homemade pumpkin pie from with a graham crust. I made a new dessert that my oldest daughter has been asking for weeks. These mint chocolate cookies with a brownie type cookie topped with mint ganache and then chocolate ganache and topped with chopped Andes mints. You can get these and so much more. An apple pie almost ready for the oven. Just need to add the top.

Here’s a pumpkin cream pie with homemade pumpkin pie whipped cream and two dozen cookies for a Thanksgiving dessert order for a first time customer for late afternoon back on November 26th. These two dozen triple chocolate fudge brownies with buttercream and decorated to theme for Thanksgiving was for a repeat customer. Sprinkles included red sanding sugar, yellow nonpareils, chocolate, and orange confetti. They were for an early afternoon pickup and made early morning back on November 25th. She ordered for the first about 6 weeks earlier for son’s birthday lemon cake pops. You can get these and so much more today.

So just before 10 pm on Saturday November 22nd I started working on desserts for our Night Owl Homeschool Co-op Friendsgiving on Sunday. This new item that is now offered in my bakery is a pumpkin cream pie. I didn’t get a picture of it topped with the homemade pumpkin spice whipped cream as I made that the next day since the pie had to cool in the fridge overnight. That Sunday the 23rd after church, I came home and made mini pecan cheesecakes. I left 3 plain cheesecakes in case no liked pecan or pumpkin. You can place your holiday orders for these and so much more.
