With bittersweet gratitude, we would like to announce that Sunrise Bakery will soon be undergoing a time of transition. Chef Taylor has been offered a position out of town that will suit her family well as they prepare for their first baby, and Owner Melissa Vine will focus her energy on her growing music booking agency (Vine Chromatic) and public speaking opportunities. We are working with someone who will maintain this sunny corner of Grinnell as a sweet gathering space with happy details to come.

Please stop in one last time prior to close on Thursday, September 27 to enjoy some of your Sunrise Bakery favorites and express your gratitude to Chef Taylor and her assistant Kaelen who have rose so early over the past year to bring you delicious food. And thank YOU for your gracious support; it has been an honor to serve this community.
