I made my first croissants!

Made 3 pound cakes for a recent baby shower. Brown sugar pound cake with caramel glaze, a cream cheese pound cake with cream cheese icing (which seemed to be the big hit), and a lemon-buttermilk pound cake with a citrus glaze.

From the shower, I received an order for a brown sugar pound cake with caramel glaze and a pineapple pound cake with pineapple-cream cheese glaze. Thank you, Pam Fowler!

OK.....I am removing the Butter Pecan Cake from my list until I can make some improvements. It is not up to par as is.

Also, my niece, Amber, is a wonderful baker and I am adding a few of her cakes to my list. She makes an Italian Cream cake, a chocolate chip bundt cake and a strawberry with a whipped icing. She will be joining me in the kitchen.
