You might have heard how wonderful Hospice staff is, but until you experience it you have no clue the incredible care they give! Mom was taken to the Elizabeth House hospice care on a Monday evening. The next morning, I observed two of the kindest nurses gently bathe her then proceed to fold her gown as though they were folding a flag-such reverence and honor shown to her. That was just the beginning of the care she would receive for four days before her passing. Our family is so incredibly grateful for how they cared not just for my mom but for my daddy, my sister and me. Making these cookies to drop off to let them know the care they showed us in early December will never be forgotten. Thank you💕
