A Moment in Time…
Way back, in 1980, microwaves were fairly new…computers weren’t a thing yet…and snail mail is how you got things done!
I was looking for a specific recipe yesterday and came across this cookbooklet…a small victory for me but just some recipes to someone else!
I was just starting to do microwave demonstrations for my dad and wanted to pass out recipes to the customers who attended. Typing out the recipes was pretty time consuming since I didn’t have an electric typewriter! So I thought, I’m going to write to a bunch of companies and see if they had any microwave recipes they could send me! Since everything was thru the mail, it took some time to get a response. Chex cereals were the first to respond AND send me these cookbooklets (as they called them)!
I was thrilled to have some very professional looking recipes to pass out!
